BUFF screens genre, horror and cult cinema each spring across the Brattle Theatre in Harvard Square and the Coolidge Corner Theatre in Brookline. Now in its mid twenties, it has become one of the country's leading showcases for underground and boundary pushing film, with director Q&As and New England premieres. The 2026 edition ran March 18 to 22.
