Baytown's Grito Fest marks Mexican Independence Day with a free festival at Bicentennial Park, featuring ballet folklorico, mariachi, and regional Mexican bands. A pre-party opens the weekend the night before at Baytown Town Square. The city runs the celebration each year for Hispanic Heritage Month.
