Fred Trump put up seven towers on the site of the old Culver Depot in 1963 and 1964, at a cost of seventy million dollars, financed with New York State housing bonds and a tax exemption. Morris Lapidus designed them. Five buildings were co-ops and two were Mitchell-Lama rentals until 2007, when they left the programme for market rates.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
