Born in April 1897 in a professor's house on Langdon Street, where his family were living while his father ran the Wisconsin State Journal. They stayed until 1906, when his father was made consul general to Hong Kong and took them all to China. Wilder is the only person to have won Pulitzers for both a novel and a play. Our Town, a stage with no scenery on it, is the most produced American play there is.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
