The Wang Towers, headquarters of a computer giant that vanished

Wang Laboratories broke ground here in 1980 on three linked twelve story towers, more than a million square feet of headquarters for a word processing company that expected to outlast IBM. Wang filed for bankruptcy in 1992 and the complex sold at auction two years later for $525,000. It still dominates the interchange where Route 3 meets Interstate 495, under the name Cross Point.
