The National Mustard Museum
1992
7477 Hubbard Avenue, Middleton, Wisconsin
Barry Levenson was an assistant attorney general for Wisconsin, and he was wandering a supermarket at two in the morning after the Red Sox lost the 1986 World Series when a voice from the mustard aisle told him that if he collected them they would come. He bought a dozen jars. There are now more than five thousand six hundred from sixty countries, plus a wall of mustard memorabilia, in a free museum in downtown Middleton that moved here from Mount Horeb in 2009 and took the town's nickname with it.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
