The Met Center and the North Stars
1967
Bloomington, Minnesota
Built in 1967 just north of Metropolitan Stadium, the 15,784 seat arena held the Minnesota North Stars for twenty six seasons until the team left for Dallas in 1993. It also took in the ABA's Minnesota Muskies for a single season, then the defending champion Pittsburgh Pipers, and neither stayed. The building came down in the 1990s and the ground is now parking for the Mall of America.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
