The Klan drives out the Vietnamese shrimpers
1981
Seabrook, Texas
White fishermen on Galveston Bay hired the Klan to drive out Vietnamese refugees who had taken up shrimping, boats burned, a man shot, armed patrols in robes. Morris Dees won an injunction that broke the Texas Klan's paramilitary wing and became a template for suing hate groups out of existence.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
