The Fort Worth Water Gardens and the pool that was made shallow

Philip Johnson and John Burgee sank three water features into four acres at the south end of downtown, paid for by the Amon G. Carter Foundation and given to the city in 1974. The stepped active pool stood in for a future city in the 1976 film Logan's Run. In June 2004 a man and three children drowned in that pool, which was then deep enough at the centre to go over an adult's head. The city rebuilt it about two feet deep and banned wading.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
