The Federal Reserve's Miami branch counts cash for half the hemisphere
1975
Doral, Florida
Opened in 1975 as the newest of the Atlanta Fed's five branches, the Miami office serves thirteen South Florida counties. Its unusual job is foreign currency processing for central and correspondent banks whose customers sit in Central America, South America and the Caribbean basin. The branch runs tours by appointment and keeps exhibits on Florida financial history.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
