The Cummer, a lumber estate and its gardens
1961
Jacksonville, Florida
A lumber family's riverfront estate left as a museum, with Italian and English gardens laid out in the 1900s running down to the St. Johns. A live oak on the lawn is around 200 years old and predates everything around it.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
