The cradle of naval aviation

The Navy's first air station, flying since 1914, where nearly every naval aviator since has trained. The base's own name for itself, the cradle of naval aviation, is on the letterhead. It is also home field for the Blue Angels, whose practice sessions over the beach are a free air show locals schedule errands around. The National Naval Aviation Museum on base keeps 150 aircraft, admission free.
