The Caleb Pusey House, the oldest English built house in Pennsylvania
1683

Caleb Pusey sailed over with William Penn in 1682, bringing prefabricated mill works for grinding flour and cutting lumber, and built this house by Chester Creek the following year. He managed the mills until 1717. It is the oldest house of English construction in the state and the only surviving building Penn is known to have entered. A volunteer group bought it in poor condition around 1960 and restored it.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
