The Blue Cube runs the satellites
1969
Onizuka Air Force Station, Sunnyvale, California
A windowless blue box beside Highway 101 flew America's reconnaissance satellites for four decades while carrying no sign explaining itself. Commuters made up stories about it. It was demolished in 2014, and the intersection it sat on is now named for the astronaut Ellison Onizuka, who died on Challenger.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
