The clerk of the Montgomery County court built this Federal brick house in 1815, with quarters inside it for the people he enslaved. The Montgomery County Historical Society keeps it as a house museum and moved a one room Gothic Revival doctor's office onto the grounds to go with it. The brick dairy house out back is original to the property.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
