The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum takes over the 1882 firehouse
1882
Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum, former Central Fire Station, Ann Arbor, Michigan

This was Ann Arbor's Central Fire Station from 1882 until 1978, when the department built a replacement on the same block. The science museum that moved in kept the firehouse and built a much larger addition behind it, so most of the exhibit floor is new and the front door is Victorian municipal. The whole collection is built around exhibits visitors operate themselves.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
