Stony Point taken at midnight with bayonets

Anthony Wayne took a British fort on a rock promontory in a night attack with unloaded muskets, on the theory that a flint striking early would give the column away. It took about twenty-five minutes, the garrison surrendered, and quarter was given, which mattered, because both sides had recently stopped giving it.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
