George Mecherle, a retired farmer, worked out that farmers drove fewer miles on worse roads than city drivers and were being charged as though they did not. He sold policies through the farm bureaus and built the largest car insurer in the country out of a town of thirty thousand, which is still where it is run from.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
