St. Martin's Church, on the Marcus Hook riverbank since 1699

Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania
CC0 · Wikimedia Commons
Founded in 1699 and standing about five hundred feet from the Delaware, this is among the oldest riverfront churches in Pennsylvania and one of the few left. Its churchyard holds veterans of the Revolution, the War of 1812, the Mexican War, the Civil War and the Spanish American War, commemorated on a single memorial. The refineries that define modern Marcus Hook arrived two centuries after the parish did.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
