Caramel aerated with baking soda into a brittle honeycomb and dipped in chocolate, made and eaten almost entirely in a band along the eastern end of Lake Erie between here and Buffalo. It collapses in humidity, which is why the shops make it in cold weather and why it never travelled. Everywhere else that has it calls it something else and usually gets the texture wrong.
