Silver Palm faded into the Redland
1927
Silver Palm, Florida
Silver Palm was a community in its own right through the first half of the twentieth century, listed as such in the Homestead and Redland District directory for 1927 and 1928. It was absorbed into the surrounding Redland and no longer appears on maps as a town. The name survives on Silver Palm Drive and on the two story schoolhouse built here in 1904, which held classes downstairs and church services upstairs.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
