Route 66 runs down Ogden Avenue and Berwyn builds Automobile Row
Berwyn, Illinois
![]()
When Route 66 was laid out in 1926 it followed Ogden Avenue straight through Berwyn, and the stretch filled with dealerships, filling stations and repair shops until it was known locally as Automobile Row. A small non profit museum on that same stretch documented the road for years before closing around 2016.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
