School District 11 built this schoolhouse in 1906 in a mix of Mission and Spanish Revival styles, two classrooms of 39 by 25 feet either side of an eleven foot central hall. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. The Peoria Historical Society now keeps its museum and its collection in the building.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
