Farm children in this corner of Arapahoe County learned in one room here from 1922. The building was later moved three miles from its original site and rebuilt, with the belfry reconstructed from old photographs because nothing else survived to copy. It now holds a restored 1920s classroom and a small museum, kept intact while the district around it grew into one of the largest school systems in the state.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
