Papa John's starts in a broom closet
1984
Jeffersonville, Indiana

A young man knocked out a broom closet at the back of his father's tavern across the river, put in a used pizza oven bought for sixteen hundred dollars, and sold pizzas through the wall to the bar's customers. It grew into the third-largest pizza chain in the country, headquartered in Louisville, before its founder talked his way out of his own company on a conference call.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
