Naughton was superintendent of buildings for the Brooklyn Board of Education and put up a long run of schools before the city was folded into New York in 1898. This one dates from 1895: three storeys of brick trimmed in Lake Superior sandstone, Romanesque Revival, with an attic floor lit by dormers and end pavilions tied to the centre by recessed wings. It went on the National Register in 1982 and still teaches elementary students as P.S. 108 Sal Abbracciamento School.
