Mount Sinai, the Jewish cemetery Forest Lawn started and then sold

Forest Lawn opened this ground in 1953 on the hillside below its own Hollywood Hills park, and by 1959 it was running as a Jewish cemetery. Sinai Temple, the oldest Conservative congregation in Los Angeles, bought it in 1967 and still owns it as a nonprofit. With its later Simi Valley sister ground it forms the largest Jewish burial park in the western United States, and much of Hollywood's Jewish working class and its stars are buried on it, a short walk downhill from the Warner Bros lot.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
