Cicero's high school grew so fast in the 1920s that it cut the day in half, freshmen in the morning and upperclassmen in the afternoon, and kept that arrangement until Morton West opened in the late 1950s. The Chodl Auditorium it built in 1925 seats 2,545 and was the largest high school auditorium and non commercial stage in Illinois.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
