Maxwell House and the coffee named after it
1869
Church Street, Nashville
Public domain · Wikimedia Commons
A grand hotel begun as a Confederate barracks and finished after the war served a house blend that a wholesaler began selling under the hotel's name, which is how a Nashville hotel ended up on grocery shelves worldwide. The claim that Theodore Roosevelt called it good to the last drop is almost certainly a later invention. The building burned in 1961.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
