Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop, the oldest bar in the country
1772
Bourbon Street, French Quarter
ajay_suresh · CC BY 4.0 · Wikimedia Commons
One of the oldest structures in the country used as a bar, in French Creole brick-between-post construction. The story that the Lafitte brothers ran it as a front for smuggling is unproven and very old.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
