The best ore turned out to be directly under the town, so the company moved the town, some two hundred buildings hauled two miles south on log rollers and steel wheels over several years, hotels and all. The hole left behind is three miles long and 535 feet deep, and has produced somewhere over a billion tons.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
