Hook Mountain, the park that does not contain its own mountain

Hook Mountain State Park covers 676 undeveloped acres of the Hudson Palisades on the west bank of the river. It carries a curious administrative oddity: the summit of Hook Mountain, the entire trail system leading up to it and the golf course all sit inside neighbouring Rockland Lake State Park, so the park named for the mountain does not actually include it.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
