Harpers Ferry, where the country made its guns
1796
Harpers Ferry, West Virginia

Washington sited a national armoury where the Shenandoah meets the Potomac, and it became one of the two places the country made its own guns. Storer College was founded here for freed people after the war, and the Niagara Movement met on the campus in 1906.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
