Glacier Bay

Southeast Alaska
Public domain · Wikimedia Commons
When Vancouver charted this coast in 1794 there was no bay, just a wall of ice. It has retreated some 65 miles since, the fastest documented glacial retreat anywhere, uncovering Huna Tlingit homeland their descendants are still negotiating access to.
