George Ellicott, son of one of the brothers who founded Ellicott's Mills, built this granite house in 1789 on the Oella bank opposite the town. He bought marshland at what is now Baltimore's Inner Harbor and dredged it with a horse drawn rig to make docks for shipping his flour. Hurricane Agnes flooded the house in 1972.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
