Dragon Stadium costs Southlake 19 million dollars and rents to a pro league
2001
Southlake, Texas
Carroll ISD opened Dragon Stadium in 2001 at a final cost of about 18 to 19 million dollars, seating 8,000 for the football team of a single suburban district. Two years later Major League Soccer's Dallas Burn played a home season on it while waiting for a ground of their own, so a professional league spent a year renting a Texas high school field.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
