Amtrak's Wolverine trains began calling at this 16,000 square foot station in December 2014, replacing a small 1979 depot and the separate stop at Greenfield Village. Federal stimulus money covered the cost. It carries the name of John Dingell, who represented this part of Michigan for 59 years and pushed for the building to be finished.
