Centennial House, the first house in the town called Fletcher
1890
Aurora, Colorado

Donald Fletcher platted a speculative town on the plains east of Denver in the 1880s and named it after himself. This 1890 Queen Anne was the first house he put up there, and like the rest of his stock it came with indoor plumbing and an upstairs bathroom, a serious selling point in that dry country. Aurora bought the house in 1990 and restored it for the city's hundredth year, which is why the town of Fletcher's oldest surviving home is now called Centennial House.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
