Caelum Moor comes back out of storage
2009
Richard Greene Linear Park, Arlington, Texas
Norman Hines spent two years carving five groups of granite, 540 tons of it with Celtic names, for a developer who wanted something at the head of Johnson Creek. It went up in 1986 off Interstate 20, drew complaints that it was pagan, and came down in 1997 when the land was sold. The stones sat at a city water treatment plant for twelve years before Arlington put them back up in 2009, a few blocks from its stadiums.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
