On 15 November 1968 the first train ran through a banner at the entrance to Cleveland Hopkins, finishing a four mile federally funded extension from West Park and making Cleveland the first city anywhere with rapid transit rail running from its downtown into its main airport. Brookpark opened as part of that extension. It is the second busiest station on the system after Tower City.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
