Bloomington Old Town Hall, the seat of a farm township
1892
Bloomington, Minnesota
Bloomington put up this hall in 1892 for a town board running farmland south of Minneapolis. It stayed the seat of local government straight through the village years and the postwar building boom, holding the council and the city offices until 1964. The city lists it as a Class I historic site, and the Bloomington Historical Society now runs it as a museum of settlement and military artifacts.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
