Where Gail Lewis signed off
Walmart Supercenter, East US Route 6, Morris, Illinois
Still from the original video
On November 16, 2023 a ten-year associate named Gail Lewis picked up the store intercom for the last time: "Attention Walmart, this is Gail Lewis, ten year associate, Morris, Illinois, 844, signing out." Then the video cuts to her crying in her car. She posted it herself. It passed thirty million views inside a week, the NFL made a tribute, and the internet mourned her like a fallen soldier. She had left for a better job.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
