The AC Hotel on West 5th Street, off Sundance Square in downtown Fort Worth. A group waiting by the lifts were filming themselves in the mirrored lobby wall when a man in a red cap, a red jacket over a floral shirt and bright yellow shorts came past, got in with them and held the whole car for the rest of the ride. The internet named him Mr. Red within about a day of the clip going up in August 2024, and the video has been reposted so many times since that most people who quote it have no idea it happened in a hotel lift in Texas.
