The whimsical dessert cafe where two strangers share a frozen hot chocolate and leave their meeting to fate is a real Upper East Side institution, open since 1954, that Andy Warhol used to haunt. The film is named for it, and the frozen hot chocolate, a genuine menu item, mountainous, is the thing most people come for now.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
