Tennessee State University's homecoming parade runs down historic Jefferson Street in North Nashville each fall, drawing marching bands, dance teams, sororities and fraternities and hundreds of spectators. It is the public, free cultural centerpiece of TSU's homecoming week, distinct from the football game itself.
