Rooster Walk brings bluegrass, jam, and Americana bands to Pop's Farm outside Martinsville for four days every May, with camping across the farm's open fields. Now past its fifteenth year, the volunteer run festival channels its proceeds into music education grants for local schools. It has become one of southern Virginia's best known roots music gatherings.
