The Middlesex County Fair has filled the Middlesex County Fairgrounds on Cranbury Road in East Brunswick since 1938, when it began as a Milltown Grange event. The week-long fair includes carnival rides, 4-H livestock and craft exhibits, live entertainment, food vendors and two nights of fireworks. It typically runs the first full week of August; the 2026 edition marked its 88th year.
