A three day Greek food and culture festival hosted by Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in north Dallas, with homemade Greek dishes, live music, and folk dancing. It is one of the city's oldest ethnic festivals, running for more than seventy years. The 2026 edition runs Friday through Sunday, November 6 to 8.

Freed people founded Alpha in Dallas County in the years right after the Civil War, one of dozens of Black settlements built on the edge of white towns across Texas.
Where Interstate 635 crosses US 75 there used to be a cloverleaf built in the 1960s that could not carry the traffic the northern suburbs were producing.
This opened in 1999 as a bus transit center, then was demolished and rebuilt in 2025 to take trains.
