A free four day brass music festival on the Centre College campus and throughout downtown Danville, with a New Orleans style street party, a Main Street parade and evening concerts on the lawn. It has run every June since 1990 and is considered one of the country's premier brass band gatherings. (2027 dates approximate.)

The largest battle fought in Kentucky, and a strange one: an acoustic shadow meant Buell sat three miles off with most of his army, unable to hear that a full engagement was under way.
