Sylvester, self styled the Peanut Capital of the World, has held the Georgia Peanut Festival since the mid-1960s. It features the Peter Pan Peanut Butter Parade, a Miss Georgia Peanut pageant and once held a world record for the largest peanut butter sandwich.
